Boston Women Connect partners with Wicked Easy Golf to offer weekly networking events

One of the best things about summer in New England is how the pace slows down and our focus shifts away from business for just a bit.   Many of us take the opportunity to ease off of work, even in the smallest ways.  But we need to keep networking, and the most effective networking - the kind where you really get to spend quality time with a potential contact - well, that's what Wicked Easy Golf Networking is all about.
In cooperation with Boston Women Connect, Jayn Krasco Stillson of Wicked Easy Golf is pleased to announce a unique networking opportunity:  nine holes of golf on Thursday mornings, followed by lunch.  Sign up is week-to-week, so you can play as much as every week or as little as once over the entire summer.  We'll play Mt. Hood in Melrose unless another option presents itself.  Although there may be resistance to playing golf during the workday, this is an opportunity to take a little time away from your day-to-day business obligations to build relationships on the golf course.   Because Wicked Easy Golf Networking doesn't require you to commit to a weekly event for the entire golf season, you can sign up to play only when your schedule is less hectic and, there are no league fees as you'll pay the course directly for your golf and lunch.   Also, Boston Women Connect members will receive 50% off Wicked Easy Golf coaching fees on Thursdays.
Open to golfers of all skill levels, we'll play the "Wicked Easy Golf" format where players won't count their total strokes.  However, just for fun, within each foursome we'll compete for longest drive on one hole; closest to the pin on a par 3; and lowest total putts for the round ($1.00 for each paid to the winner at the end of the round).   By not keeping score, players may "play the shot you wish you had" and move your ball to optimal positions.  If a player chooses to keep score, your ball must be picked up at double par, or you may opt out of the competition entirely if you choose.   This format eliminates any pressure to perform on the course and encourages each player to relax, have fun and enjoy the company of your fellow golfers.
